erosion (short comic)

erode the ego

what will you find?

what is the wind, the rain, time?

is it you? is it me?

undoing

to begin

to the essence of what is

what always was

what will become -

transcend individuality

the body, belief- deconstruct

layers of sediment, history

the hard, the tender, the eager

ever-changing, ephemeral

we are the wind, the particle

the form, forever

a hidden unity

within and without the surface

the collective, uncovered

capable of canyons

swift or slowly

creating, destroying, creating

in collaboration with the river, the rain

with joy, with pain

everything -

erode as: to let go, to embrace uninvited change, to break into the most basic form, humbled by uncertainty, vulnerability, exposing, examining, a dynamic collaboration with universal undoing - a beginning.

ego as: entitlement, starving greed, the constructs absent of true wealth or wellbeing, as the ignorance of toxic individualism, the bitterness of never being “enough” - when you are already everything. -

if nothing in stone is set,

where will we land next?

how will we get there?

personal work, 2020.
